According to the Bryan Singer Twitter page, production has wrapped on the sequel to X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The massive ensemble epic, which brought together the colossal cast to unite on stage at this year’s San Diego Comic Con, will be released in cinemas in the summer of 2014, and will star – **deep breath** – Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Halle Berry, Daniel Cudmore, Fan Bingbing, Boo Boo Stewart, Adan Canto, Evan Peters, Josh Helman and Lucas Till.
A new image was tweeted to celebrate the big wrap, featuring Jackman, director Bryan Singer, writer/producer Simon Kinberg, and producer Hutch Parker.
The film kicks off the big summer movies next year, and is one of the first to hit the screen in a packed season. It hits cinemas on 23rd May, 2013.
