Few films are as notorious as Meir Zarchi’s notorious 1978 explicit thriller I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE. However, director Steven R. Monroe pushed the boundaries (and viewers limits) even further with his impressive 2010 remake. It was a revenge-driven thriller that deserved a whole lot better than it received in both box-office and so Anchor Bay Films tasked Monroe to deliver follow-up I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE 2. This time with a focus on an all new victim and her evil perpetrators, who push our poor heroine to the brink before unleashing her brutal payback.

I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE 2 will receive a very limited theatrical release in the US on September 20th and will then be available on DVD, Blu-ray and VOD on September 24th. It will also premiere at London’s Film4 FrightFest on the 25th August. Jemma Dallender, Joe Absolom and Mary Stockley star.
