The first trailer for war drama HOW I LIVE NOW starring a blonde Saoirse Ronan was released over the weekend and it looks like she’ll be putting the skills she learnt in adventure thriller HANNA to good use. HOW I LIVE NOW is an adaptation from the 2004 novel by Meg Rosoff and is set during the fictional third world war of the 21st century. Daisy (Ronan) is living on a remote country farm when nuclear war strikes and she is separated from her family and her young love Edmond. She must escape and find her way home with a daring adventurous journey.
The cast for HOW I LIVE NOW also includes Tom Holland (THE IMPOSSIBLE), George MacKay (DEFIANCE) and Anna Chancellor (The Hour). It’s been directed by STATE OF PLAY and THE LAST KING OF SCOTLAND director Kevin Macdonald and is due in UK cinemas on 4th October. Have a look at Ronan in action below.
