Axe & You Shall Receive First Clip From Survival Chiller ‘You’re Next’

THN really can’t recommend Adam Wingard’s intense, yet superbly funny suspense thriller YOU’RE NEXT, any higher following a special preview of the film and Q and A during our time at San Diego Comic Con (click the following link for my review). The film centres on an entire family get together with The Davisons that turns spectacularly sour when three masked and mysterious invaders launch a vicious attack on their remote location. Fighting for their lives, it soon becomes apparent one of the family’s new girlfriend has a few tricks up her sleeve to lead the fightback, proving to be the most talented killer of them all!

Stunning Aussie actress Sharni Vinson is the stand-out in the brutal yet brilliant thrill ride that is often ingenious thanks to Simon Barrett’s twisted screenplay. Borrowing heavily from the slasher genre yet deserving immense credit in crafting, along with Wingard’s direction, a wholly refreshing fright flick. Trust us when we say YOU’RE NEXT is easily the finest horror of the year.

It’s unleashed in US cinemas 26th August and the UK 28th August. Fans attending Film4 FrightFest at London’s Leicester Square will be able to attend an early Opening Night screening on the 22nd August.
