Leonardo DiCaprio’s production company Appian Way, which is housed over at Warner Brothers, is set to look at bringing the story of King Harald to the big-screen. DiCaprio could also potentially star in the film, which is being written by Mark L. Smith (THE HOLE).
We don’t know too much more about the project, but the movie will revolve around Harald Hardrada, who was hailed as the last great Viking king. DiCaprio also has a version of the story of the mad-monk RASPUTIN, also in development over at the studio.
The actor will next be seen in Martin Scorsese’s THE WOLF OF WALL STREET.
