Five new images and a teaser trailer have been released for KILL YOUR DARLINGS, which stars Daniel Radcliffe as poet Allen Ginsberg. The new flick looks set to be a break out for director and writer John Krokidas, and even though it’s a 30 second preview (but it looks like it has been cut, damn it!) we can see all the hype behind it.
The film follows the origins of the beat movement, and the story looks at how David Kammerer’s (Michael C. Hall) murder in 1944 by Lucien Carr (Dane DeHaan) brings together the great poets of the beat generation: Allen Ginsberg (Radcliffe), Jack Kerouac (Jack Huston) and William Burroughs (Ben Foster). It also stars Elizabeth Olsen, Kyra Sedgwick and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
KILL YOUR DARLINGS is expected to open October 18th in the US and November 8th in the UK. Check out the photos and the trailer below:
