Armie Hammer Reveals Why He Won’t Play Batman

Armie HammerEven though he was originally set to play Batman in George Miller’s JUSTICE LEAGUE movie back in 2007, Armie Hammer has revealed that if he was asked to play Batman again he would happily decline, mainly down to the fact that he does not like super hero movies.

He said in an interview:

“I’m not actually a big fan of superhero films. If you have a guy who is supposed to be invulnerable, then what’s the point?”

He also went on to say that he would rule out being Batman in the newly announced Batman/Superman crossover because of Henry Cavill. Cavill, who plays Superman in MAN OF STEEL, also stars with Hammer in Guy Ritchie’s latest project THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E., and if they were star in another project together people might “begin to talk” (don’t give us ideas Armie!).

At least we’ll get to see them both in THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E. at least, which starts filming in September. If you need your Armie fix now, you can catch him in THE LONE RANGER.

Could he possibly invoke a stupider reason? Isn’t he aware that Batman is the one actually powerless DC hero? And please, people might “begin to talk” if he co-stars another movie alongside Cavill? WTF?! Fine dude, don’t play Batman, we’ll be better off with a less moronic actor.
