Steve Coogan’s signature creation Alan Partridge makes his first foray on the big-screen as the failed chat show host finds himself the unlikely hero in ALAN PARTRIDGE: ALPA PAPA. The Norwich-native still has a pathetic spot on the regional North Norfolk Digital but finds himself thrust back in the spotlight once when a former colleague flips and lays siege at the station, refusing to negotiate with anyone other than the founder of Peartree Productions (now folded).
This latest clip sees Alan offering a spot of advice for the boardroom chieftains, which actually spells the end for the aforementioned disgruntled employee.
ALAN PARTRIDGE: ALPHA PAPA arrives in UK cinemas 7th August and co-stars Darren Boyd, Anna Maxwell-Martin, Nigel Lindsay, Phil Cornwell, Tim Key, Sean Pertwee, Felicity Montagu and Simon Greenall. Declan Lowney is at the helm.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
