There’s been rumours everywhere that the production has been running into some trouble and have had to reshoot some scenes, although we’re not completely sure whether this is because of a longer or shorter running time, we’ve still got a lot of hope for THOR: THE DARK WORLD.
However, this doesn’t seem to be affecting the release date and Marvel have thrown water on that fire with this epic, Struzan-esque poster that features the whole bloody cast AND a little teaser of Christopher Eccleston’s Malekith the Accursed. Brilliant. THOR was one of my surprise favourites of the recent Marvel films and very unexpectedly one of the best, so despite ups and downs with production – surely hard to avoid at this scale – THN still have a lot of hope for THE DARK WORLD – Watch the trailer here –
Here’s that poster in its full, glorious beauty with the cast all seemingly distracted by things in different directions, aside from Malekith who’s looking right at you, yes – YOU:
THOR: THE DARK WORLD opens in the UK on 30th October and in the USA on 8th November 2013. It stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Hopkins, Stellen Skarsgaard, Rene Russo, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Zachary Levi, Jaimie Alexander, Ray Stevenson, Kat Dennings, Christopher Eccleston and Idris Elba.
