Following the monster success of the FAST & FURIOUS franchise, not forgetting forthcoming sci-fi threequel RIDDICK, Universal Pictures will again officially team with Vin Diesel on the mysterious project known only as WORLD’S MOST WANTED. It appears the studio are desperate to keep the bald brute onside as he makes plans for his role in an upcoming Marvel movie.
There is no plot details available as yet with the project originally scripted by newcomers Sean O’Keefe and Will Staples, but is currently being rewritten by Dan Mazeau (WRATH OF THE TITANS). Neal Mortiz will produce alongside Diesel having worked together on the FAST & FURIOUS and the first XXX feature. There are also rumours of a future return for Diesel as Xander Cage in XXX 3 but we’ll bring you news of that project if and when it’s confirmed.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
