What Goes Up…Latest ‘Gravity’ Trailer

Alfonso Cuaron hasn’t directed a mainstream feature length film since 2006’s excellent CHILDREN OF MEN, so we’re very happy to see the talented director behind the camera for space drama GRAVITY. Written by Cuaron and his son Jonas Cuaron, it sees astronauts George Clooney and Sandra Bullock drifting through space and hoping to return to Earth. The latest trailer gives us an intense scene that captures the fear the film is going for. Although the screen is sparse, being set in space and all, it looks to be the perfect example of what IMAX 3D should be able to achieve. If this trailer doesn’t make you feel even a little uneasy, then I don’t know what will. It perfectly plays on the terror of isolation.

GRAVITY is released 4th October in the US and 18th October in the UK. It stars George Clooney and Sandra Bullock.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
