First Promo Stills, Artwork & Sentinel Peek At ‘X-Men: Days Of Future Past

Seeing the cast and crew of new and old Fox franchise X-MEN, blew the roof of Hall H at Comic Con yesterday, as THN witnessed a jaw-dropping day in San Diego. Seeing the likes of Hugh Jackman, Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart, sitting taking mutants alongside Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and James McAvoy, was positively surreal (and there were more!).

We witnessed the first spectacular, brooding and X-tended footage from the superb-looking superhero thriller, X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST, which appears to be an intelligent and mature take on the classic Marvel arc. It’s THE WOLVERINE himself, that must travel back in time to change a major historical event that could globally impact man and mutant kind, as chief antagonist Bolivar Trask (Peter Dinklage) invents the mutant-hunting androids known as The Sentinals.

Here’s the first look at some promo images and a peek at one of Comic Con’s villainous Sentinel heads. It’s also worth a visit to Trask-Industries.com for more details. We’ll also be running a brilliant competition in the coming days to win some Comic Con goodies, which include some of these exclusive DOFP propaganda posters, T-shirts and more!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
