Do I Look Like I Suffer From Panic Attacks? First Clip From ‘Alan Partridge: Alpha Papa’

Jurassic Park! Here is the first clip from ALAN PARTRIDGE: ALPHA PAPA, in which North Norfolk Digital’s favourite DJ (Disc Jockey) talks to the police about the hostage situation in his beloved radio station.

Steve Coogan’s iconic comedy character will be venturing out in his first full length film, in which he must assist Norwich’s finest in a tense stand-off with disgruntled fellow DJ Pat Farrell (Colm Meaney). It features returning favourites such as Alan’s faithful ex-military companion Michael (Simon Greenall), longtime rival Dave Clifton (Phil Cornwell) and best of all, his long suffering PA, Lynn (Felicity Montagu). We haven’t seen her since the end of series two which was, brace yourselves, over 11 years ago. She is mentioned throughout Alan’s autobiography (I, Partridge: We Need To Talk About Alan), but never by name. We suggest you read it because, like Bravo Two Zero by Andy McNab, it improves with every read.

Have a clip:

ALAN PARTRIDGE: ALPHA PAPA is directed by Declan Lowney (Father Ted) and written by veteran Partridge scribes Armando Iannucci, Peter Baynham, Neil & Rob Gibbons and some bloke called Coogan. It will be released in the UK on 7th August. Lovely stuff.

John is a gentleman, a scholar, he’s an acrobat. He is one half of the comedy duo Good Ol’ JR, and considers himself a comedy writer/performer. This view has been questioned by others. He graduated with First Class Honours in Media Arts/Film & TV, a fact he will remain smug about long after everyone has stopped caring. He enjoys movies, theatre, live comedy and writing with the JR member and hetero life partner Ryan. Some of their sketches can be seen on YouTube and YOU can take their total hits to way over 17!
