JJ Abrams. The man who wants to do it all. Not content with nailing it with the new STAR TREK movies, the creator of such TV classics as ALIAS and LOST is also switching to the STAR WARS universe in 2015 when he released Episode VII. You would have though that that would be enough, but apparently not. It seems that Abrams still wants to direct to direct STAR TREK 3!
Spock himself, Zachary Quinto was speaking over at an Irish Film Festival over the weekend, from where a fan had this to report.
“I attended a public interview with Zachary Quinto at the Galway Film Festival in Ireland on Friday, and during it, he revealed that Paramount have told the Star Trek cast that they’re planning to shoot ST3 in 2014, and that J.J. still wants to direct!
So, how on Earth us he going to fit that in then? Episode VII starts shooting later this year, and will continue well into next, and then there’s the hefty post-production process that its sure to need. The guy is insane! Thoughts?
