Exclusive! Blood-Soaked First Stills From Gory Comic-Horror ‘Cute Little Buggers’

A few weeks ago we showcased the first teaser poster and official plot synopsis from forthcoming British comedy creature-feature, CUTE LITTLE BUGGERS 3D. Now we have the first gruesome set of stills from the fun genre effort directed by Tony Jopia, which is said to be a throwback to the cult classic 1980 splatter flicks like CRITTERS, GHOULIES and of course, Joe Dante’s GREMLINS. With the recent success of retro-like efforts FEAST, ATTACK THE BLOCK and GRABBERS, we think it’s just the right time for another B-movie monster invasion.

Will it keep the very English moniker for its Stateside release? Who knows, but we suggest FEROCIOUS FURRY F**CKERS may translate well! Speaking of which, we’re still desperate to see these flesh eating creatures who are purposely being kept hidden. A good move to build suspense we think.

From the director of ‘Deadtime’ and ‘Crying Wolf’ comes Cute Little Buggers! Will you let them take our women? It’s Gremlins meets Hot Fuzz set in the English countryside. When hostile aliens crash land on local farmland the villagers at the summer ball get suspicious when young women start going missing. The villagers soon band together around our hero Melchoir (Kristofer Dayne) to fend off the invaders and bring back peace to the sleepy English countryside! B-movie laughs in this creature feature from director Tony Jopia. The film is Produced by Jopia Productions and Great Dayne Entertainment.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
