New Trailer & Featurette’s For Post-Apocalyptic Survival Thriller ‘Snowpiercer’

South Korea filmmaker Joon-ho Bong’s much anticipated and all-star English language debut, SNOWPIERCER, is expected later this year. The post-apocalyptic survival thriller features an epic cast of current hot Hollywood talent, genuine acting icons and acclaimed international superstars. All who’ll play their own part as the surviving members of the human race who must band together on an wrecked underground train after being forced to make their way through a new ice age and a very bleak future.

Snowpiercer is set in a future where, after a failed experiment to stop global warming, an Ice Age kills off all life on the planet except for the inhabitants of the Snowpiercer, a train that travels around the globe and is powered by a sacred perpetual-motion engine. A class system evolves on the train but a revolution brews. The remaining populace aboard the train have been divided into strict social classes with the poorest at the back of the train and high society at the front. A revolution begins at the back that will not be deterred until it reaches the very front.

SNOWPIERCER is still awaiting a confirmed release date. It stars Chris Evans, Song Kang Ho, Octavia Spencer, Jamie Bell, Tilda Swinton, Ed Harris, John Hurt, Ewen Bremner, Ko Ah Sung and Alison Pill.
