James Franco’s loyalty might have just got the better of him as rumours have hit the web saying that the actor has left the project GARDEN OF LAST DAYS two weeks before production.
Franco was expected to star and direct the project, but due to disagreement with the financiers about what crew he could have on the movie, Franco has upped and left the project leaving it in complete despair to a point where the $3,000,000 project will be scrapped completely. It is thought that some members of the crew did not have enough experience to get approved.
THE GARDEN OF LAST DAYS was an adaptation of the novel by Andre Dubus III. The thriller followed three stories in the ‘seamy’ underside of America. It follows A stripper out of options who brings her 3-year-old daughter to work; an angry, lonely man who gets thrown out of the club; and a foreigner with an endless supply of cash on the brink of committing a terrifying act. GAME OF THRONES star Emilia Clarke was also set to star.
Well at least he gave in his two weeks notice I suppose…
