From the opening moments of this first trailer for 2 GUNS, the chemistry between Denzel Washington and Mark Wahlberg is absolutely electric. The witty dialogue, the competitive sparring, it’s exactly what I wanted to see when these two were cast opposite each other. 2 GUNS sees Washington and Wahlberg as competing government agents, who are wrapped up in a convoluted plot involving money, the CIA, and lots of action. Based on a graphic novel of the same name by Steven Grant, 2 GUNS looks to have the perfect mix between comedy and action. I’m already replaying some of the scenes and quoting some of the dialogue.
2 GUNS is released in the US on 2nd August 2013, and is yet to receive a UK release date. It stars Denzel Washington, Mark Wahlberg, Bill Paxton, Paula Patton, James Marsden, Edward James Olmos, and Evie Thompson.
Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
