The first trailer for writer/director Joe Swanberg’s comedy has arrived. DRINKING BUDDIES sees stunner Olivia Wilde and NEW GIRL’s likable Jake Johnson as a couple of friends working together at a brewery who both have separate romantic relationships but soon find themselves falling for each other. The two seem to have perfect chemistry and the added bonus also comes in the ever dependable Anna Kendrick and Ron Livingston as their significant others.
As is becoming more common, DRINKING BUDDIES will be available on iTunes/VOD in the US from the July 25th before hitting cinemas from 23rd August and the UK 8th November. It’s all the more surprising given Swanberg’s best known as the director of cult horror hits CABIN FEVER 2, A HORRIBLE WAY TO DIE and V/H/S.
