You’ll definitely remember Anthony Edwards from ER not too long ago, and now he’s set to take on the world of television again with ‘Zero Hour‘. In the show, he returns – along with a dynamic ensemble cast – to this dramatic adventure thriller, as Hank Galliston, a man who’s questioning everything and everyone he ever believed in – including himself. If you’re a fan of Prison Break then you’re sure to want to check this out as Paul Scheuring has created and written this brand-new series.
So far, only the first three episodes have aired in America. The show is airing over the summer so the UK is currently ahead of America and you can find it here: www.itunes.co.uk/tv/zerohour
You can also head over to the ABC Studios UK Facebook page now to submit their questions for some of the top talent from ABC Studios and the fantastic Gabriel Mann (Revenge) will be taking part in a live Q&A this Sunday at 1:20pm
The show also stars Addison Timlin as Rachel and Scott Michael Foster as Arron, two young FBI associations but not forgetting, in our other featurette, the highly intelligent FBI agent Rebecca “Beck” Riley played by Brit Carmen Ejogo. Check out ‘Meet Hank’ below and then follow it up with ‘Meet Beck’ right here on THN:
Here’s some more official info:
As the publisher of Modern Skeptic Magazine, Hank Galliston has spent his career following clues, debunking myths and cracking conspiracies. But when his wife, Laila (Jacinda Barrett), is abducted from her antique clock shop, Hank gets pulled into one of the most compelling mysteries in human history, stretching around the world and back centuries. Contained in one of his wife’s clocks is a treasure map, and what it leads to could be cataclysmic. It’s up to Hank to decipher the symbols and unlock the secrets of the map, while ensuring the answers don’t fall into the wrong hands — hands that belong to a sinister, mysterious man known only as White Vincent (Michael Nyqvist). We’re guessing like a cross-over of those drama mysteries we see, with addition bits of Kate Mosse’s Labyrinth, or The Da Vinci Code.
“Zero Hour” stars Anthony Edwards (“Big Sur,” “Flipped,” “ER”) as Hank Galliston, Carmen Ejogo (“Sparkle,” “Chaos,” “Away We Go”) as Rebecca “Beck” Riley, Scott Michael Foster (“Californication,” “The River”) as Arron Martin, Addison Timlin (“Californication”) as Rachel Lewis with Jacinda Barrett (“Matching Jack,” “Middle Men,” “New York, I Love You”) as Laila Galliston and Michael Nyqvist (“Mission: Impossible – Ghost Patrol”) as White Vincent.
