Courteney Cox Announces Directorial Debut Project

Courtney Cox 800x600

She’s no stranger to being behind the camera, having directed seven episodes of her TBS show ‘Cougar Town‘ and a Lifetime movie, but now former ‘Friends‘ star Courteney Cox is making her move into film directing with her newly announced project HELLO I MUST BE GOING.

Cox has already got her stars lined up with Sean William Scott and Kate Walsh (‘Private Practice’) due to play the lead roles.  Scott will play Ted Morgan – a man heading back to his home town to put his life in order before he commits suicide and Walsh will play his sister-in-law, presumably there to try and stop him!

Dave Flebotte, a man whose writing credits read like a TV listings guide, has written the script and Cox’s production company with ex-husband David Arquette, Coquette Productions, will be producing the picture.

Other cast members already announced include Garrett Dillahunt (‘Raising Hope‘) and Rob Riggle (21 JUMP STREET, ‘Modern Family’) and filming is expected to start in LA later this month.  With Matthew Perry rumoured to be dead against a reunion for the ‘Friends‘ cast this project will be Cox’s next big screen venture.
