Emma Roberts; the actress formerly known as ‘Julia Roberts’ Niece’, is gearing up for her first full-on adult comedic turn in the hilarious looking WE’RE THE MILLERS. In which a fake family, made up of drug dealers, strippers and a couple of young degenerates, get together to move some pot across the Mexican border and make some money. Roberts may still be young, but she’s already aimed for a more diverse career than her famous aunt, with roles in horror SCREAM 4, British action gangster film 4.3.2.1. and now this. She’s a long way from her turns in NANCY DREW, AQUAMARINE, WILDCHILD, and HOTEL FOR DOGS (maybe I’ve seen too many Emma Roberts films, and by “seen” I mean “own”). Still, she’s got a long way to go to match her father, the legendary Eric Roberts, who takes on everything from SPUN, to THE DARK KNIGHT, to SHARKTOPUS.
