Oh, you know we’re already excited for Edgar Wrights’s THE WORLD’S END and you lot should be as well. After an impressive first trailer, things got a lot more interesting with the second and now we’ve got these tongue-in-cheek character posters for each of the main men (and women) involved. I say that because they’ve also got a pub name above their roles, which amusingly ties in with their personality and looks – clever stuff you crafty Cornetto lovers.
THE WORLD’S END focuses on Gary King (Simon Pegg), as he gathers the gang of five to revisit something they never finished in their youth: An Epic Pub Crawl. It’s only been 20 years since they last tried it and although it may be initially against their better judgement, it then turns chaotic as they unwittingly become humankind’s only hope for survival. Check out the brilliant banners below:
THE WORLD’S END is due to hit UK cinemas 19th July and the USA on 23rd August. The film also co-stars a superb British supporting cast of Eddie Marsan, Paddy Considine, Martin Freeman, Rosamund Pike, Mark Heap and David Bradley.
