Following last weeks first peek at newly designed Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, as well as newcomers Drift and Sideswipe, we’ve a few more mechanical motors discovered via director Michael Bay’s official website. These sleek new Autobot ‘characters’ will be unleashing more complicated, intergalactic vehicular warfare on the inhabitants of Earth as we’re sure to struggle, yet again, to see which bloody robot is smashing into which.

The first image is described as ““the extraordinary and exhilarating 2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 Coupe.”

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.

Where is this new look you speak of? I just see new cars, who cares about the cars, I want to see the robot form.

If they’re going to use cars from the VAG, wouldn’t it make sense to turn Bumblebee back into a VW Beetle?

Lambo? Heck yeah. I’ll be really disappointed if they bring in Sideswipe without Sunstreaker AGAIN though…
