We’ve recently showcased two Hollywood heavyweights in the form of Travolta and De Niro in the first posters for survival thriller, KILLING SEASON. However, they literally don’t get any heavier than hulking action men Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger, who’ve landed their own one-sheet for ESCAPE PLAN.
The two Expendable’s come together for the story, formally known as THE TOMB, concerning structural-security specialist Ray Breslin (Stallone), who finds himself framed and incarcerated in the very prison he designed. However, with the help of a lifer inmate (Schwarzenegger), he must put his all his skills and knowledge about the building to make his escape and discover those behind the scheming plot.
ESCAPE PLAN is directed by Mikael Håfström (THE RITE, 1408) and has another impressive supporting cast, including Jim Caviezel, Vincent D’Onofrio, Sam Neill, Amy Ryan and Vinnie Jones, spoiled by 50 fu**ing Cent. It’s currently slated for US cinemas from the 18th October, while we in the UK still await a date.
