New character posters have surfaced from supernatural fantasy THE MORTAL INSTRUMENTS: CITY OF BONES. The film, directed by Harold Zwart, is based on the same-titled Young Adult novel by Cassandra Clare and stars the lovely Lily Collins as the seemingly ordinary teenage girl, Clary Fray, who discovers disturbing truths about her past and bloodline when her mother is taken from their New York home by evil demons.
Lena Headey, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Jamie Campbell Bower, Robert Sheehan, Kevin Zegers, Jemima West, Jared Harris, Kevin Durand and Aiden Turner co-star in the film due in cinemas this August.
Next, we’ve another couple of stylish one-sheets from Franck Khalfoun’s acclaimed slasher remake, MANIAC. The unique film experience, based on the 1980 splatterfest from director William Lustig and starring the late, great Joe Spinell, is led by Elijah Wood as the trouble young Frank, struggling to contend with the voices in his head who are pushing his to slice ‘n’ dice beautiful young ladies on the sleazy dark streets.
Nora Anezeder, Megan Duffy, Liane Balaban, Sammi Rotibi and America Olivo co-star in the graphic horror slated for the US on the 21st June.
