Terrific New Trailers For Horrors ‘Hellbenders’ & ‘The Between’

We finally have a trailer for cult writer/director JT Petty’s (THE BURROWERS, SOFT FOR DIGGING) latest bizarre bout of the supernatural with 3D exorcism comedy, HELLBENDERS, The always brilliant Clifton Collins Jr. and Clancy Brown headline the crazy premise which has the following official simple synopsis:

 Hellbenders, an R-rated 3D exorcism comedy, follows the Augustine Interfaith Order of Hellbound Saints (Brooklyn Parish), highly secretive and profoundly blasphemous men of God, as they battle demonic forces too terrible to be cast out by traditional Vatican-approved methods.

There are currently no release details available but we’ll keep you posted. Dan Fogler, Andre Royo, Robyn Rikoon, Macon Blair, Stephen Gevedon and Larry Fessenden co-star.

Next, we have THE HUNGER GAMES’ Isabelle Fuhrman and SUPER 8’s Joel Courtney leading eerie, otherworldly thriller THE BETWEEN (previously known as THE HEALER), which is directed by Giorgio Serafini.  Veterans James LeGros and Peter Bogdanovich co-star in this ‘afterlife’ tale with the great new trailer just below the plot details.

An ailing father, who is about to undergo a potentially life-threatening surgery, takes his teenage kids into the woods to try and recapture their early closeness, before he and his wife divorced and everything changed. But the three are swept into a supernatural adventure, in which only their Father, Chris, “The Healer,” has the ability to control their destinies. Lost in a haunted forest from which there seems no escape except death, this moving and sensitive script tells a beautiful story of a family’s tragedy & resilience.
