Yesterday brought us our first glimpse of a covered up Sebastian Stan, (sort of) reprising his role as the long-thought dead Bucky Barnes, who’ll be defrosted and reanimated as sub-titled protagonist of CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER. Now we’ve more shots from the Cleveland set of the Marvel superhero sequel that pits Steve Rogers’ patriotic super soldier against his former friend, now reprogrammed as an evil masked cohort to the mysterious Crossbones, being played by Frank Grillo.
We have also learned four new names have joined the cast as a number of S.H.I.E.L.D. operatives, who’ll be working alongside Robert Redford’s team leader, Alexander Pierce. THE DARK KNIGHT’s Chin Han, former NEIGHBOURS and UGLY BETTY actor Alan Dale and television veteran Bernard White will all appear. As will the lovely Jenny Agutter, who’ll reprise her AVENGERS role as a World Security Council member but will forever by remembered by many for her role in AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON… or CHILD’S PLAY 2.
