It’s a family film poster bonanza over here! We’ve got brand new posters for all types of family features that are set to arrive over the coming months, from animated/live action mix, SMURFS 2, the completely computer animated Dreamworks film TURBO, live-action fantasy/adventure in PERCY JACKSON: SEA OF MONSTERS, and heartfelt anime biopic THE WIND RISES.
SMURFS 2 will see our blue buddies take on Paris, because apparently all Smurf films will take place in some major present day city. The posters have Papa Smurf wearing sunglasses, which just screams “genius”. TURBO will centre around the world of snail racing, and the new character posters hint at many a parody of THE FAST AND FURIOUS franchise. PERCY JACKSON: SEA OF MONSTERS will sea the children of Olympian gods embark on another quest, and finally THE WIND RISES is animation God, Hayao Miyazaki’s, latest effort from Studio Ghibli, which will focus on Jiro Horikoshi, the designer of Zero Fighter planes used in WWII by Japanese pilots.
SMURFS 2 is released 31st July 2013. TURBO is released in the US on 17th July and UK on 18th October. PERCY JACKSON: SEA OF MONSTERS is out on 7th August. THE WIND RISES is yet to receive a release date.
