We’re chomping at the bit for the release of Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot, MAN OF STEEL. While I have a soft spot for Bryan Singer’s love-letter to the early ground-breaking Richard Donner/Christopher Reeve efforts, I can see why SUPERMAN RETURNS didn’t hit home with a majority of fans and critics, and the need for Warner Bros. to relight their beloved franchise. Nabbing Snyder was a great move despite his last effort, SUCKER PUNCH, looking visually stunning (thanks to some scantily-clad foxy females) but very little else. However, what’s exciting for many is the sure impressive line-up included in the superhero epic.
We’ve a further three new TV spots to showcase along with a Gillette promotional ad asking the all important question “How does Superman shave?”. Check them out below:
MAN OF STEEL stars Henry Cavill, Michael Shannon, Russell Crowe, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Amy Adams, Ayelet Zurer, Antje Traue, Christopher Meloni, Harry Lennix, Laurence Fishburne and Richard Schiff. It hits theaters 14th June
