Late last night THN brought you a fantastic US one-sheet from Franck Khalfoun’s uniquely disturbing remake of the William Lustig notorious 1980 video nasty, MANIAC. It’s already crossed our UK shores to much acclaim earlier this year, while US horror hounds will be able to bathe in the bloody g(l)ory of the sadistic slasher starring Elijah Wood, when it arrives in cinemas, iTunes and on VOD from 21st June.
P2 director Franck Khalfoun reunites with his fellow Frenchmen Alexandre Aja and Gregory Levesssuer on the tale of troubled Frank. A quiet young man with a mother complex unable to control his urge to prowl the sleazy streets of New York City for female scalps. So, here we have another effective poster and first US trailer for the film co-starring Nora Arnezeder, America Olivo, Liane Balaban, Megan Duffy and Sal Landi.
