A host of new images from THE SOUND OF MY VOICE co-writer/director Zal Batmanglij’s latest thriller, THE EAST, have surfaced from the film reuniting the acclaimed filmmaker with rising actress/co-writer and producer, Brit Marling. She leads as an operative for an elite private intelligence firm, who is hired to infiltrate an anarchist group known for executing covert attacks upon major businesses and large corporations. However, she begins to believe that she may well be the individual being purposely ambushed.
The Sundance favourite also features a superb supporting cast of Ellen Page, Alexander Skarsgard, Toby Kebbell, Julia Ormond, Patricia Clarkson, Shiloh Fernandez and Jason Ritter. THE EAST has US release date of 31st May and the UK 28th June.
