Following pretty sharpish after the brand new US one-sheet and quad, we’ve the latest trailer for Edgar Wright’s conclusion to his hilarious Cornetto (or Blood & Ice Cream) trilogy. Nick Frost and Simon Pegg once again lead his comedy, THE WORLD’S END, that sees five former best friends finally get together and attempt the epic pub crawl that they just couldn’t quite complete 20 years earlier. However, their drunken shambles make them unaware of the chaotic and coming apocalypse. That is until they unwittingly become humankind’s final hope for survival.
THE WORLD’S END is due to hit UK cinemas 19th July and the US 23rd August. The film also co-stars a superb British supporting cast of Eddie Marsan, Paddy Considine, Martin Freeman, Rosamund Pike, Mark Heap and David Bradley. Now, who’s for a swift half at The Winchester?

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
