British favourite Simon Pegg, currently seen onboard the U.S.S. Enterprise in STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, has been added the cast of nailbiting Australian crime thriller, KILL ME THREE TIMES. The film is being directed by Kriv Stenders and centres the Australian surfing town of Eagle’s Nest, where a beautiful young woman connects three tales of murder, blackmail and revenge.
Cargo Entertainment is behind the film which is set to begin shooting in Western Australia in September. Pegg will co-star alongside intense ANIMAL KINGDOM duo Ben Mendelsohn and Sullivan Stapleton (who’ll also next been seen leading 300 sequel RISE OF AN EMPIRE), Abbie Cornish (the upcoming ROBOCOP remake) and Alice Braga.
Could be an interesting change of pace for the brilliant funny man.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
