We now have the first looks of villainous newcomer Peter Dinklage and stunner Jennifer Lawrence, who’s reprising her role as the mutant Mystique, on the set of Bryan Singer’s much anticipated comic-book adventure X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.
The sequel will unite the cast of the original trilogy with that of Matthew Vaughn’s impressive prequel, X-MEN: FIRST CLASS. That means Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Halle Berry and Daniel Cudmore, mixing it up with past, present and future. This time, the plot is based on Chris Claremont and John Byrne’s acclaimed comic-book arc of a time-traveling alternate future for mutants, in which they’re hunted by Sentinels. Omar Sy, Fan Bingbing and Boo Boo Stewart also co-star in the film set for cinemas 18th July 2014

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
