The latest set pics from Marvel Phase 2 entry CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, have revealed a cameo from one of IRON MAN 2’s characters who hasn’t been seen since. CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER will follow the exploits of Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) as he tries to fit in with the 21st century. He’ll also be leading up some S.H.I.E.L.D missions as well as teaming up with The Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and taking on his old friend Bucky (Sebastian Stan), who is now The Winter Soldier. Some may consider this cameo spotting as a spoiler, so pleased be warned before you scroll down.

The cameo is that of Gary Shandling, who played Senator Stern in 2010’s IRON MAN 2. He was most notable for coming to political blows with Tony Stark after Stark refused to hand over his Iron Man technology. Perhaps Stern will be a little happier now that Captain America is clearly a piece of US property.
CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER is released 4th April and stars Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Cobie Smulders, Anthony Mackie, Robert Redford, Sebastian Stan, and Hayley Atwell.
