*SPOILERS!* Well, if you’ve not seen the end of Homeland: Season 2, then where have you been? Actually, even if you’ve not seen any of Homeland yet then you should rectify that immediately and read my little write-up on Why You Want Homeland In Your Life. Moving onto now though, there was quite the hefty explosion that literally ripped the CIA apart and half the cast, so they’re now set to add 7 new characters to the third season that beings in late September in the USA.
First up, it’ll be begin filming in North Carolina at the end of this month and besides the obvious need for some a new senator and National Security Advisor, they’ll also be adding a psychiatrist named Dr. Troy Richardson. We’d presume this would be for Carrie, after all, she’s thrown herself through all kinds of mad hoops and may need a little focus. There’s also room for Lois, she’s a Grandmother and we’d guess this was also part of the Brody or Jess clan, it seems more likely to be the latter as her chap has gone AWOL i.e. Running scared.
It’s also been reported that there’s room for a couple more girls in therapy (With Carrie finding some real-life friends?) and finally a young chap named Leo. He better not run someone over, again…
More news as and when we hear about it, I’m already excited and also recommend Homeland: The Video Game. It’s an 8-bit homage.
