Flemyng & Scott To Feature At MCM London Comic Con!

London Comic Con

Top British actors Jason Flemyng and Dougray Scott are familiar faces to sci-fi fans, film buffs and telly addicts alike, so it’s only fitting that both will be special guests at this month’s festival of all things pop culture, MCM London Comic Con!

After making his mark LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS and SNATCH, Flemyng has gone on to star in a raft of major feature films, including X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON and CLASH OF THE TITANS, as well as a duo of Alan Moore comic book adaptations – FROM HELL and THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMEN. Meanwhile, notable TV roles include maverick ex-cop Danny Quinn in sci-fi show PRIMEVAL, and Charlie Brooker’s Emmy-wining series BLACK MIRROR.

Currently playing Dr. Norman Godfrey in Eli Roth horror series HEMLOCK GROVE, Dougray Scott’s extensive feature film appearances include HITMAN, MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE II, DARK WATER, RIPLEY’S GAME, MY WEEK WITH MARILYN, EVER AFTER, ENIGMA and REGENERATION. Scott is also a familiar face on the small screen, playing roles in series such as DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, DOCTOR WHO and SINBAD.

Scott will be attending the Friday of MCM London Comic Con, while Flemyng will be meeting fans on both the Friday and Saturday of the show.

Jason and Dougray join a host of special guests at May’s MCM London Comic Con, including cast and crew from ONCE UPON A TIME, TEEN WOLF, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, MERLIN and Steven Spielberg’s FALLEN SKIES, film and TV star Tony Curran, anime director Shinichiro Watanabe, LARA CROFT star Camilla Luddington and MASS EFFECT’s Mark Meer.

MCM London Comic Con will run from 24th to 26th May and is held at the EXCEL Centre, London. Tickets and more information are available from here.

Considering Jazmine grew up watching CARRY ON SCREAMING, THE LION KING and JURASSIC PARK on repeat for weeks on end, it made sense for her to study film at London South Bank University. It’s also a good thing that her course requires a lot of sitting down because she’s very accident-prone. When she’s not examining her bruises, she likes pretending that she doesn’t live in Southend-On-Sea and spends hours mindlessly blogging. Favourite films include BLUE VALENTINE, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND and TOY STORY 2.
