Ever wanted to be told what to do, how to do it and when? Well, if the answer is yes, perhaps the National Guard is the career for you, as you too could possibly have the son of Krypton and the saviour of Earth – aka Superman – in handcuffs.
Check out this behind-the-scenes featurette and theatre spot which had MAN OF STEEL’s visionary director Zack Snyder involved in an effort to gain new recruits for the American government’s world renowned National Guard. Inserted in between the commercial is stunning new footage of Henry Cavill’s super being Kal-El doing what he does best – looking damn hard and flying high!
I can’t bloody wait for this film, so sign me up if it means I get an early screening.
MAN OF STEEL is also produced by Christopher Nolan and co-stars Kevin Costner, Laurence Fishburne, Michael Shannon, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Christopher Meloni, Michael Kelly, Harry Lennix, Richard Schiff and Russell Crowe, and is released in the UK and US from the 14th June.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
