We’ve received the official press release and video for the first interview with the man taking on the leading role, of the famous Willa Wonka! He’s set to set in Roald Dahl’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which opens at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane on 25th June 2013 and it’s all directed by Sam Mendes.
Douglas Hodge Interview’ is the first discussion with Douglas Hodge, the actor bringing Willy Wonka to life on stage. As he looks at his role in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Douglas talks about the need to convey the wonder of the original story in order to touch people’s hearts. Sam Mendes and David Greig also share their thoughts on why Douglas Hodge will deliver a truly unique interpretation of the mysterious confectioner.
