Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini Set To Direct ‘My Beautiful Coma’

Shari Springer Berman + Robert Puch

Shari Springer Berman and Robert Pulcini are set to add another indie comedy to their collective creative belts but this time the directing duo will be helming the project, MY BEAUTIFUL COMA. The pair, who made their debut with AMERICAN SPLENDOR back in 2003, will also be rewriting the script that was written by LEVERAGE and THE KINGS OF QUEEN writer Chris Downey. The film will tell the story of an estranged couple who, after a car accident, find themselves beside each other after falling into a coma. While there, they escape in their own alternate realities but when they cross paths in each-others worlds; trouble breaks out.

Springer Berman and Pulcini have made a bit of a name for themselves despite having a small amount of projects to their names. AMERICAN SPLENDOR was nominated for an Oscar back in 2004, and their recent project GIRL MOST LIKELY, which stars Kristen Wiig, Matt Dillon, Annette Bening and Darren Criss went down well on the festival circuit and is expecting a July release.
