Stunt Double Gives Us First Look At Giamatti’s Rhino From ‘The Amazing Spider-Man 2’

While we’ve had a right good look at Jamie Foxx’s menacing main threat Max Dillon (aka Elecro) in both pre and post transformation, we’ve yet to see what the brilliant Paul Giamatti will bring to THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 table as the ‘Rhino’. Well, thanks to a stuntman sporting a latex cast of the character and actor, we have our first look at the heavily tattooed ruthless Russian mobster Aleksei Mikhailovich Sytsevich before his monstrous metamorphosis.

THE AMAZING SPIDERMAN 2 will swing into cinemas from the 2nd May 2014 and co-stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Dane DeHaan, Sally Field, Colm Feore, Chris Cooper and Shailene Woodley. Marc Webb is once again at the helm of the rebooted franchise.

In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.

you do know that rhino is just a man in a suit dont you? he doesn’t actually metamorphasise into a rhino. Have you ever read a spider-man comic? do you write about stuff you think will get you hits, rather than stuff you actually know about? because man do you churn some shit out.

Sorry Whino, Obviously my irony was lost amongst our coverage. Yes, I know is know the guy is known for just wearing a costume but you’re right, I’ve never read a Spider-man comic in my life and was brought up on the Saturday morning cartoon. Someone has to cover the shit I churn out even if you believe it’s that. Jesus, you throw more vitriol than a Twihard!
