We’ve four new stills from J.J. Abrams’ much anticipated sci-fi sequel, STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, in which the troupe of the U.S.S. Enterprise are forced to confront and capture one of their own in the form of Benedict Cumberbatch’s vengeful Federation spy, John Harrison. Not only do we have those, but also a brand new character poster featuring Alice Eve’s stunning newcomer Carol Marcus, who said to have a mysterious connection to Kirk’s new nemesis.
In the wake of a shocking act of terror from within their own organisation, the crew of The Enterprise is called back home to Earth. In defiance of regulations and with a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads his crew on a manhunt to capture an unstoppable force of destruction and bring those responsible to justice.
As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.
STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS will be released in the UK on 9th May and in the US on the 17th May. It co-stars Chris Pine, Karl Urban, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Peter Weller, Zachary Quinto and Noel Clarke.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
