I’m sure you know the basic plot of J.J. Abrams’ sci-fi sequel STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS, by now. The crew of the Starship Enterprise take on the wrath of Benedict Cunberbatch’s Khan…sorry, John Harrison. Battle ensues. Our heroes win. The end. Well. something along those lines but we all know it’s ‘padding’ is going to be epic, right?
Today we’ve already showcased a brand new Japanese trailer, another nifty viral clip, not forgetting yesterday’s impressive collection of character posters, we have Simon Pegg’s Scotty and Anton Yelchin’s Chekov featuring in their very own designs.
STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS will be released in the UK on 9th May and in the US on the 17th May. It co-stars Chris Pine, Karl Urban, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, John Cho, Bruce Greenwood, Peter Weller, Alice Eve, and Noel Clarke.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
