Michael Shannon has been around for a few years now but it was his role as the mentally unstable (but only logically stable) John Givings in REVOLUTIONARY ROAD that really started to get him noticed. He followed that up with the magnificent TAKE SHELTER as Curtis and Nelson Van Alden in Boardwalk Empire (including that iron scene), which has rightfully placed him in the arena with some the best actors around. Always unbalanced at his most affective, he has now taken on an American sorority letters as his next (Funny or Die) venture and my, what an impact! He’s here to read the Delta Gamma Sorority Letter that went viral last week, from the University of Maryland including the opening line:
“If you just opened this like I told you to, tie yourself down to whatever chair you’re sitting in, because this email is going to be a rough f**king ride.”
Check it out for yourself, it’s a stunner!
