Tom Hiddleston May Be ‘The Crow’

Tom HiddlestonMarvel super-villain Loki, played by the one and only Tom Hiddleston (there may be another, I couldn’t be bothered to Google), is looking to do some avenging of his own, as we are receiving word that he is in early talks to star in THE CROW remake. THE CROW concerns a man brought back from the dead to take revenge on those that have done him wrong. There have been a number of Crows over the years, but most famous is 1994’s THE CROW starring Brandon Lee, who died during filming.

The sequels that followed were mostly unimpressive straight-to-video efforts. James McAvoy was once being considered for the role, but I’d certainly have to agree with Hiddleston having that darker edge. Hiddleston will be seen later this year, reprising his star-making turn as Loki in THOR: THE DARK WORLD.

Luke likes many things, films and penguins being among them. He's loved films since the age of 9, when STARGATE and BATMAN FOREVER changed the landscape of modern cinema as we know it. His love of film extends to all aspects of his life, with trips abroad being planned around film locations and only buying products featured in Will Smith movies. His favourite films include SEVEN SAMURAI, PASSION OF JOAN OF ARC, IN BRUGES, LONE STAR, GODZILLA, and a thousand others.
