Chris Hemsworth will soon be back as hammer-swinging demi-god Thor, in Marvel Studios much-anticiapted THOR: THE DARK WORLD. The sequel is this time helmed by Alan Taylor, familiar for his acclaimed work on television series GAME OF THRONES. The plot will see the God Of Thunder call upon human friends Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and Dr. Eric Selvig (Stellen Skarsgaard), when intergalactic villains known as The Dark Elves, led by Malekith (Christopher Eccleston) and Algrim (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje), threaten the destruction of both Asgard and Earth
The film’s set for cinemas 8th November 2013 and follows IRON MAN 3 in Marvel’s Phase II. Check out the first thunderous poster!

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
