The current pop phenomenon following the retirement of the brilliant Wang Chung (ask your parents boys and girls. In fact, scratch that, ask your grandparents) ONE DIRECTION have apparently taken over the globe following their epic formation on the top UK talent show MY BIG FAT GYPSY WEDDING. It’s no surprise the handsome boys are top of the charts with hits like ‘Momma, Can I Play Out Tonight, Johnny Nicked My Yoyo’ and the heartbreaking hit, ‘Di Gave Me An STI’ (please do let us know we have our research wrong), so, with that, we bring you the first poster for their own movie, ONE DIRECTION: THIS IS US.
The documentary is directed by Morgan Spurlock and will follow the recent trend of 3D tour efforts which has previously saw that angry kid with the bad barnet and the kinky chick who had a fetish for ex-junkie Goth comedians (and who coincidentally also has a ridiculous hairdo), brought to the big-screen for an extra couple of quid, all for the extra dimension. It hits the UK from 23rd August and the US from the 30th August.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
