It has been a over decade since Keanu Reeves was kicking box-office ass with THE MATRIX franchise. However, the wooden ‘One’ will be seen in two kung-fu projects later in the year – long-delayed period actioner 47 RONIN and MAN OF TAI CHI. The latter of which Reeves will make his directorial debut, following a young martial artist during his adventures in Beijing, played by Tiger Chen. Reeves is also on villain duties co-starring alongside international action stars Simon Yam, Karen Mok, Iko Uwais with legendary fight choreographer Yuen Woo Ping, also onboard as action co-ordinator.
MAN OF TAI CHI is still awaiting release details but here we have the first crop of images and fiery poster.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
