We’ve already had Armie Hammer, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Ruth Wilson and William Fichtner‘s character posters for Disney’s big-budget blockbusting western, THE LONE RANGER, and now we’re able to bring you the first look at a weathered Tom Wilkinson’s chief villain, Latham Cole.
THE LONE RANGER reunites PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN director Gore Verbinski with lead Depp, who portrays Native Indian Tonto, the man who reinvents Hammer’s lawman John Reid into a feared masked justice delivering title character. The film, which arrives in the US on the 3rd July and the UK from 9th August, also features Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale and James Frain, so expect their mugs to pop up on posters shortly.

Craig was our great north east correspondent, proving that it’s so ‘grim up north’ that losing yourself in a world of film is a foregone prerequisite. He has been studying the best (and often worst) of both classic and modern cinema at the University of Life for as long as he can remember. Craig’s favorite films include THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION, JFK, GOODFELLAS, SCARFACE, and most of John Carpenter’s early work, particularly THE THING and HALLOWEEN.
